Students learn and perform various scenes and musical works from classic Broadway Musical Theater. They learn the basics and technique behind singing, acting, and dancing. Members will develop music skills such as singing technique, sight reading, rhythmic development, music theory and harmony, all learned and applied to a variety of musicals. They will also develop social skills within a structured musical environment.
Musical Theater is a Santa Monica Bay Music Foundation Program coordinated by the Santa Monica Conservatory of Music.
