The Santa Monica Conservatory of Music is honored to work with the Santa Monica Education Foundation to provide free music lessons for qualifying students in SMMUSD.
These 18 thirty-minute private (one-on-one) lessons are funded by the Santa Monica Education Foundation’s Peggy Bergmann Arts Endowment Fund. The lessons give qualifying students an opportunity to excel in SMMUSD’s nationally recognized music program. We have proudly worked with hundreds of qualifying students ranging from 4th through 12th grades, providing all lessons in person and hosted on our professionally dedicated campus with ample parking at 15th & Colorado.
Choose from 25 teachers: all string instruments, all woodwind instruments, all brass instruments, and male and female vocal coaches, teaching in one of 10 spacious and sound proof studios. During lessons parents will enjoy hi speed Wi-Fi in our 4000 sqft space in one of three lounge areas.
Also, the Santa Monica Conservatory of Music has secured additional funding which allows all participating students to receive 50% scholarship to our Spring and Summer Music Camps (total 12 full weeks, M-F, 9am-3pm) hosted during school Spring and Summer breaks at our dedicated campus at 15th & Colorado.
